A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, and Kenosha counties from noon Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.

AWARE OF IF THEY HAVE PLANS TODAY. MOLLY: WE HAVE MISSED A LOT OF THE BIG SYSTEMS. THIS IS NOT A HUGE WINTER SYSTEM, BUT FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON, WE ARE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. MILWAUKEE, SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN, IN THE BULL’S-EYE. OUR FORECAST HAS NOT CHANGED FROM LAST NIGHT RIGHT NOW. MUCH OF SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN PICKING UP 4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW BETWEEN NOW AND MIDNIGHT TOMORROW MORNING. I WILL SAY, OVERNIGHT, SOME OF THE LATEST TRENDS RING SOME LAKE EFFECT SNOW FOR PORTIONS OF MILWAUKEE AND RACINE COUNTIES. WE MAY NEED TO ADD HIGHER TOTALS FOR AREAS NEAR AND SOUTH OF PORT WASHINGTON, ALONG THE LAKEFRONT. THE CHANCE OF SOME HIGHER TOTALS EARLY TOMORROW MORNING. IT IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR OZAKI, RACINE, AND KENOSHA COUNTIES. THE WARNING START FROM TODAY AND LAST UNTIL 6:00 TOMORROW. EVERYWHERE ELSE IS AN ADVISORY. THAT GOES IN EFFECT AT NINE A CLOCK TODAY AND LAST UNTIL 3:00 TOMORROW MORNING. A LOT OF THE SNOW WRAPPING UP BY MIDNIGHT OR 3:00. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. SNOW IS MOVING IN. WE ARE DRY UNTIL ABOUT 9:00 OR 10:00 IN SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN. MID MORNING, SNOW ACROSS THE AREA, BUT IT WHERE — IT WILL START LIGHT. SNOW COMES TO AN END AT MIDNIGHT. THIS WILL BE A LIGHTER SNOW THAN WE HAVE HAD. EASIER TO SHOVEL, BUT IF YOU CAN HOLD OFF SHOVELING UNTIL THIS EVENING, YOU MAY NEED TO PICK UP A LITTLE BIT MORE EARLY TOMORROW MORNING. IT IS THIS AREA OF SNOW CLOSER TO OMAHA, THE QUOTAS WE ARE WATCHING AS A MOVES THIS WAY. DRY AIR WILL WIN OUT FOR A TIME, BUT EVENTUALLY SNOW IS LIKELY ACROSS OUT EAST WISCONSIN. IT WILL NOT COME DOWN REALLY, REALLY HEAVY AT ANY GIVEN TIME. AT NOON, IT IS MOSTLY WHITE ON FUTURECAST. IT IS JUST WE COULD SEE STEADY TO MODERATE SNOW FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. SOME OF THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL LIKELY AFTER 2:00 THIS AFTERNOON CARE THAT IS WHEN WE COULD SEE LAKE ENHANCEMENT INTO THE EVENING. TOWARDS MIDNIGHT, 1:00, SNOW BECOMES LIGHTER. THE WIND STARTS TO SHIFT, SO THEY’RE COMING IN OUT OF THE NORTH. WE START TO DRY OUT AS WE HEAD TOWARDS TOMORROW.
