A former Nashua man has been arrested and accused of sexually assaulting several girls, and prosecutors said he had help from several other women.Prosecutors allege Jesse Reynolds, 43, had nearly 40 profiles on a dating site where he would message underage girls and bring them to his Nashua home, where he would sexually assault them.In court Monday, a judge called the accusations “a version of human trafficking.”Reynolds was arrested in Michigan, and prosecutors said he fled there after learning about the investigation.Authorities started looking into Reynolds in 2016 after several teenage girls came forward accusing him of sexual assault. They said Reynolds recruited the girls online using nearly 40 different profiles and aliases on an app called MeetMe. Prosecutors said he was romantically involved with several women he referred to as “sister-wives.” They said he would have the women pick up the girls from their homes or from school and bring them to his Nashua home, where he sexually assaulted them. Investigators said the girls would be blindfolded as they were taken to his home.Investigators said there could be more possible victims. “Online activity, social media, online chats, these things are very concerning when they involve minors,” Nashua police Lt. Peter Urban said. “They can easily be enticed or solicited online.”Defense attorneys said that while the charges are serious, Reynolds has no prior record. Police said Reynolds previously lived in Vermont and Massachusetts. They’re asking anyone who might have more information to give them a call.
