HAVING MORE THAN $20 WORTH. KELLY: THE DEADLINE TO FILE A CLAIM IS TOMORROW. I HAVE SEEN THAT CIRCULATING, PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY KNOW MY PURCHASE HISTORY. LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS WEATHER. IT IS A DUSTING IN SOME PLACES. STRONGER BANDS OF SNOW CAME THROUGH AND OTHERS. RANDI: AND THE MIX OVERNIGHT WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN. WHAT LOOKS WET WHEN YOUR TEMPERATURE DROPPED UNDER 21 DEGREES CAN BE ICY AND ROAD CONDITIONS CAN VARY. SOME TOWNS WITHOUT LAST NIGHT AND GOT STUFF DONE. OTHER PLACES HAVE NOT BEEN TOUCHED. KELLY: YOU CAN TELL WHICH AREAS GOT SALT. RANDI: AS YOU DRIVE, SOME ROADS ARE TREATED AND SOME ARE SNOW-COVERED. AS WE LOOK AT RADAR, YOU CAN SEE SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUE. WE HAD LARGE SNOWFLAKES OVERNIGHT AND THERE COULD BE SOME OF THOSE ESPECIALLY THROUGH NORTHERN KENTUCKY. INSIDE THE 275 LOOP, WE ARE UNDER A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY UNTIL NOON. WE HAVE LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE RONALD REAGAN TOWARD WYOMING, PERHAPS A HEFTY BATCH OF SNOW MOVING THROUGH THE AREA NOW, SAME THING ALONG THE OHIO RIVER, DRIFTING INTO BOONE COUNTY, SO YOU WILL SEE SNOWFLAKES PICK UP. FURTHER SOUTH, OVERNIGHT YOU HAD MORE SIGNIFICANT SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN. THAT PINK LINE IS NOW DOWN TO OUR SOUTH, CAUSING SOME ISSUES IN OUR SOUTHERNMOST COMMUNITIES, SO YOU HAVE SOME ACCUMULATION WITH THE SNOW ACCUMULATION ON TOP OF IT, SO THE ROAD MAY LOOK SNOW-COVERED BUT THE POSSIBILITY OF AN ICE RINK SITUATION UNDERNEATH IT. I WANTED TO SHOW YOU THE LATEST HERE AS FAR AS ROAD CONDITIONS. THIS IS BASED ON RADAR TRENDS OVER THE LAST COUPLE HOURS, SO IF YOU HAVE THIS LIGHT TURQUOISE COLOR GENERALLY THE ROADS LOOK SNOW-COVERED. AREAS OF PINK INDICATE POTENTIAL PRESENCE OF ICE THROUGH THE WEST SIDE AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY, BACK INTO SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA AND ACROSS OUR SOUTHERNMOST COMMUNITIES. THESE ARE THE AREAS WHERE YOU MAY ENCOUNTER MORE SUBSTANTIAL ICING CONDITIONS. IF IT LOOKS WET, IT COULD BE ICE, ESPECIALLY TO THE NORTH AS THE COLDER AIR SETTLES IN. 24 CLOSER TO DOWNTOWN. ON A WIDER VIEW, WE STILL HAVE A COUPLE HOURS WHERE THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL. WE ARE CALLING IT SUNRISE FOR THE END OF THE SNOW, BUT REALLY BETWEEN 7:00 AND 9:00 A.M. DEPENDING ON WHAT PART OF TOWN YOU HAPPEN TO BE IN. SOME SLEET OR FREEZING RAIN IS LIKELY TO MIX IN. BETWEEN 6:00 AND 7:00, I THINK THE 275 LOOP IS DONE WITH IT. OUR SOUTH AND SOUTHEASTERN MOST COMMUNITIES WILL SEE THIS MOVE OUT. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY GOT EXPANDED THROUGH HAMILTON, CLAREMONT, AND BROWN COUNTY’S. WATCH FOR ICY TRAVEL WHEN WE HAVE THE COMBINATION OF SLEET AND SNOW. OUR TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE LOW 20’S EARLY WITH WIND DOWN TO 12, 20’S THROUGH THE DAY. OUR HIGH TODAY IS 29. THE SNOW ENDS EARLY, BUT WATCH OUT FOR SLICK TRAVEL ALL DAY, LOOKING AHEAD TO TOMORROW THINGS ARE DRYING OUT AND AFTER THE SYSTEM MOVES OUT THE REST OF THE WEEK LOOKS DECENT. WE WILL HAVE COLD AIR TOMORROW MORNING AND CHECK OUT FRIDAY, CLEAR SKIES MEANING COLD ALL DAY. 27 IN THE AFTERNOON, ALTHOUGH WE SHOULD GET A WARM UP INTO NEXT WEEK. THERE WERE ISSUES ON THE ROA
